Jeremy Holmes | Junior | FC: Jesse Eisenberg | Major: Theater | OPEN

“I got the lead? I got the lead? I mean… I got the lead. I got the lead!”

Jeremy Holmes isn’t your average drama kid. In high school, he wasn’t much of an actor. A few of his friends got involved in drama club and he found himself being pushed into it. He didn’t get the leads and didn’t care to either. He was mostly put off as a supporting role, but he definitely had a talent he had never seen before. He was just an awkward, shy kid, put into the limelight, but by the time his senior year ended, Jeremy was known at his high school in New Jersey for being an upcoming star. He won awards from the local drama department in his city, acted in front of audiences of hundreds, nearing a thousand. It was only logical that he’d be a theater major at Rockefeller.

But it became clear his freshman year that he wasn’t the only upcoming star in New York City. Put in a dorm with his rival, Harrison Miller, both boys have been working to get to the lead roles (usually only given to upperclassmen), while still maintaining a steady, tension-filled friendship. And now that they’re juniors, all the work is about to pay off. But with Jeremy getting the lead in the first production that Rockefeller’s drama department is going to put to the stage, Harrison is ready to do anything to bring him down. Jeremy is now faced to live with his rival and once closest friend. But is the pressure and constant worry even worth it?
